6 Foods that Promote General Hormone Health

There are a lot of natural ways to balance your hormones and one incredibly important component of that is your nutrition! 🥗🥑🍉🍌🍇Check out some foods below that support general hormone health 👇🏼

⏺Flaxseeds are rich in omega-3 fatty acids & fiber. Flaxseeds can help to support hormones by eliminating estrogen and keeping bowels regular!

🥦Cruciferous veggies like cauliflower, cabbage, broccoli, kale, brussel sprouts and broccoli sprouts help estrogen detoxification. Broccoli sprouts are one of the richest sources of sulforaphane, helping to support that estrogen metabolism.

🥬Leafy greens contain important antioxidants as well as magnesium. Magnesium has been found to help keep cortisol levels (your stress hormone) in check!

🐟Fatty fish are high in omega-3 fatty acids and help to stabilize hunger hormones! Good fats help with cell-to-cell communication which ultimately improves hormonal communication as well.

❗️Brazil nuts are a great source of selenium - selenium is essential to thyroid health, helping to convert the inactive T4 hormones into active T3 thyroid hormones.

All in all, getting more plants into your diet can help modulate inflammation and the additional fiber can help you detox not only excess toxins, but excess hormones as well! 🤗

Out of those 6, which one is your fav?? 👀
